Jana Jackson makes False claims to the Arizona Republic

Please read all of Jana Jackson's responses to the Arizona Republic Voter Guide Questionnaire (she leaves no response to several questions, but attempts to answer a few).

There are many dubious claims, but once again, she makes the false claim is that she has been a member of the Republican Party for 30 years.

It is public record that she changed party affiliation from NPD to Republican in Maricopa County in 2014.

It is also public record that she registered as NPA (No party affiliation) in Florida in November of 2005.

It is okay to change party affiliation. However, she lies about it.

Also, notice that she makes no claim to have EARNED a PhD: "PhD course work." She has no Masters of Arts.

Jana Jackson not a certified teacher

It is a lie that Jana Jackson has been a certified classroom teacher for years. She obtained her first teacher certification in October of 2015 - less than 10 months ago. Prior to that, she worked as a substitute teacher (since 2012).

Visit the Online Arizona Department of Education Certification Information System here.

Please note you have to search for her as Janifer J. Booher. She constantly changes her name.

Jana Jackson Lied about her PhD.

Jana Jackson said she earned a PhD. Her original campaign flyers actually listed her as "Dr. Jana Jackson."

She lied and she changed her flyers.

However, she still tries to deceive voters by having this on her web site: "PhD Program in Educational Leadership (emphasis in Curriculum & Development), Minor in Special Education Policy & Law at the University of Kansas."

She NEVER earned her PhD, and continues to parse her words to imply that she did.
